TGI Friday’s: Gift cards and points. Does that really count as a deal? Just in case: Bonus Bites cards in valuations of $5 for purchases of $15 to $25 (excluding alcohol and taxes) and $10 for a purchase of $25 and up. Double bonus points throughout April for members of its rewards program.

McCormick & Schmick’s: Cheap food, more gift cards/certificates. $10.40 entrĂ©e menu, $10.40 “tax relief dinner certificate” good toward future purchases.

Papa John’s: Cheap food. Order on the website and use “1040” as a promotional code to get a large, original-crust pizza with up to three toppings for $10.40.

McDonald’s: Cheap food/early death. At some locations, a purchase of a full-price Big Mac or Quarter Pounder with cheese entitles the customer to another one for a penny.

Cinnabon: Free food. Free Classic Bites, good from 5 to 8 p.m. at mall locations.
