Won t Back Down Group Art Show Gavin Hignight The Freak Table Los Angeles

Here are three pieces that I am showing as three limited edition prints respectively at the “Won’t Back Down” group art show during Art Walk this coming Thursday evening. The exhibition was curated by Gavin Hignight in celebration of the release of his novel, “The Freak Table”. The concept of the group show is to celebrate the gladly misspent youth of the seventies’, eighties’ and early nineties’ counterculture… i.e. prior to Hot Topic and the Internet as we now know it.

The prints will be available at the show and then any remainders will be released in my Etsy shop afterwards for those of you who can’t make it. Obviously these are not my original designs, more or less they’re simply record album cover mashups and are meant as a humble homage to the tremendously talented original designers and musicians who had such a large impact on my life. I’m pricing these cheap simply to recoup my costs and I will not be making others. Please feel free to say hello, I will be there throughout the night. – David Alexander Willis
