DAVID ALEXANDER WILLIS Temple Art-3530

Filmmakers David Alexander Willis (aka me) and Gavin Hignight with film director E. Elias Merhige

Working with photographer Allan Amato, fifty artists from a number of different mediums put together a collaborative self-portrait for a correlative documentary and coffee table book. You can find out more information on Temple of Art at the successfully-funded Kickstarter page here. These are photos I took at the two-night art opening at La Luz De Jesus Gallery this past December 5th and 6th to celebrate the works and publication of the book. (ps Hi-Fructose used color versions for a write-up that you can find here.) The art is up through December 28th. See the rest of the imagery in the full photo gallery here.
