here’s a rare weekend post to celebrate a record breaking traffic day yesterday as well as to point out a lot of great openings tonight in the metropolitan Los Angeles area. earlier in the week we mentioned the Brian Viveros/Dan Quintana/Bad Otis Link triple header in Santa Monica, and jesus satan also highly recommends Corey Helford Gallery’s opening for both Michael Mararian’s “Youth Parade” and Miso’s “The Cold Returns”. Mararian’s current project looks incredibly intense and wickedly funny, just the way i like my women art. there are also something like fourteen other shows tonight, so check out Sour Harvest for a fairly thorough rundown on what’s what, where and at what times.
