here’s a slick video from the amazing if somewhat bookwormish Passion Pit for the single To Kingdom Come. they’re hitting Terminal 5 tonight and tomorrow and Sunday, although everything is all sold out, so if you big bullies want to beat them up for being such geeks, then you’ll have to wait for them out back in the alley. these guys are total, TOTAL dorks, but i have to admit that i wish i was as cool as them.
everyone is in the giving mood, even jesus santa, so here are a few links for some free, legal new music. click the images below. first we have a new Groove Armada ep at Toyota’s Music Myspace page.

The Submarines‘ new video for Submarine Symphonika is so cute it makes me want to do something truly horrific just to even out the tao a little. director Josh Forbes also made the awesome video for Peace and Hate, and he has a ton more music videos available for your perusal at his Winch&Pulley site, including videos for Sea Wolf, Cold War Kids, Ariel Pink, Alkaline Trio, and a ton more. (this one for Trouble is a Friend from hipster cutie Lenka is pretty slick, although you might want to turn down the volume and just watch the illustrations. oooh, burn!)

The Juan Maclean – Give Me Every Little Thing (Cajmere Mix)
yay! i loves me some DFA artists! The Juan Maclean are part of the stellar NYC record label’s family of progressive electronica rock, the roster of which includes the utterly perfect LCD Soundsystem (who thank jesus satan has a new album coming out soon, as noted a few days ago…) there is a discount to The Juan Maclean’s show tonight at the Avalon through the site here, or i guess if you print out the flyer attached below and bring it to the club, you get $10 off. (at least that’s what it looks like, but i don’t owe you nothin’ if i am wrong…) The Field, Vega, and as usual Destructo and Mr. White open… see you there, America!
