wavves bro and his broke ass wrist

Hipster bro, Wavves, just came off of playing a few shows with a broken wrist. Sweet deal trooper, now he’s taking a break to take care of the break. In the note announcing the surgery on his blog (recently updated: Wavves bro just beat Resident Evil 5 and is moving on to Metal Gear Solid 4, rock on) he also gave us the new Mickey Mouse demo track above… It’s surprisingly great. Surprising because he comes off as a fucking hipster gimmick but I gotta admit, a lot of his stuff shows promise. This demo has real Noah Lennox vibe going on.

To make things tastier, he’s touring with one of my favorite new indie sensations: Ganglians (cool enough to warrant a PF review here), who we’ve posted about before if you wanna go listen (you should).
