Goldfrapp has a rocket and a new video for it… a very… boring… weird… video… about relationships or something. also, they have a new contest about using their Head First album design to make your own art or something, and then you win, get this, a signed copy of the same picture you submitted. and a cassette of the album. cricket. cricket. cough. cricket. anyways, more info after the jump. and you can check out the Head Firstcontest here. David OReilly did some neat Lady Gag 3D animation portraits. there are more from the series here (click on “view fullscreen”) and some very, um, ABSTRACT ones that were rejected here. also, here’s some weirdness from his Sesame Street/Aniboom’s Animate to Educate animation contest entry (vote for the winners here). i think we can take a stab in the dark and wish him our condolences for not winning. also also, check out a fun little animator protest to Sesame Street here.

The Ting Tings – “Traffic Light”
The Ting Tings are going on an ARENA TOUR (whaaaaaaaaaaat!?) in September with Pink aka P!nk aka she’s still relevant? I’ve heard even if you’re not their biggest fan they do put on a pretty amazing live show. But an arena tour? Jesus. If you wanna come see them rock out at Madison Square Garden on Monday, October 5th (ahh I see, they got the Garden on a Monday, must be a recession special) go here and enter the contest.
