Depeche Mode – Never Let Me Down Again

man, there just is no better venue than the Hollywood Bowl. (especially since i can more or less walk there. that helps with the drinking…) they have released more of the upcoming summer schedule, and some highlights include The Beastie Boys first ever performance there, Depeche Mode playing two nights, Death Cab For Cutie playing with the Los Angeles Philharmonic (Tegan and Sara and The New Pornographers are opening up), MOTHERFUCKING GRACE JONES which is so bad ass i don’t (for once) know what to say (Of Montreal and Dengue Fever are opening up), and the always excellent Pink Martini closing out the season (which is something to behold. last time it was like a Rio De Janeiro parade in Hollywood). oh yeah, and Andrea Bocelli and, um, Abba (kind of). yay! Hollywood Bowl, will you be mine?
