Bad Otis Link provides backup with his You’ll Be Sorry When I’m Dead show in the back room. (jesus satan says that every day and he doesn’t get an opening. people usually just laugh, actually.)

This is an incredible show for both artists and all the work is amazing. Its going to be a multi-media event in 5D with films being projected, sountracks of bizzare music and sculptures as well as live music and costumed Desensitized girls. Everyone is encouraged to participate so please dress up in military gear like a Viveros or Quintana painting and get a free “Desensitized” poster. In gallery 2 Bad Otis Link’s “You’ll Be Sorry When I’m Dead” which will also be in 5D with films, twisted puppets and warped art. The Submarines‘ new video for Submarine Symphonika is so cute it makes me want to do something truly horrific just to even out the tao a little. director Josh Forbes also made the awesome video for Peace and Hate, and he has a ton more music videos available for your perusal at his Winch&Pulley site, including videos for Sea Wolf, Cold War Kids, Ariel Pink, Alkaline Trio, and a ton more. (this one for Trouble is a Friend from hipster cutie Lenka is pretty slick, although you might want to turn down the volume and just watch the illustrations. oooh, burn!)
jesus satan sure loves me some Electric Six. singer Dick Valentine’s tongue in someone else’s cheek brand of rock n’ roll humor just never gets old… at least not to an infant like me. case in point, here, also, is their classic Gay Bar, featuring animation from Joel Veitch at Rather Good, the flash animation that started it all. ok, too funny. first, some context. a young gentleman caller by the name of Lomax mistakenly thought that i was actually the girl screwing the giant bunny rabbit in my avatar, which is also my Myspace profile pic. clearly if you take more than a millisecond to look at my profile, or really if you have a brain at all, you’ll figure out that i’m not a girl, nor do i fuck rabbits.
