holy jesus (satan), Dave MacDowell may just be the new king of pop (rest in pieces, M.J.). i was lucky enough to see David MacDowell’s The Sins of Atticus Finch show at Thinkspace a couple months ago, and the more i see of his portfolio of jumbled up pop schizophrenia, the more i laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh all crazy like while talking to myself. there is plenty of more wonderful-ness on his website here, and you can read his blog here to read about the methods behind his particular brand of madness. preach on, mad pop genius. preach on.

whoa. this stuff does happen in threes. first Ed McMahon, then today Farrah Fawcett, and now Michael Jackson. according to everyone but CNN (who says he’s only in a coma… [UPDATE: CNN WAS WRONG]), Michael Jackson has died of a cardiac arrest. who are we supposed to make child molestation jokes about now? won’t someone think of the children?
