Kat Von D has entered the Los Angeles art space with her new Wonderland Gallery next to High Voltage, her LA Ink tattoo shop on La Brea. the first show to open there tomorrow night is Kevin Llewellyn’sThe Unsaid, which looks pretty spookerific and even if you don’t care so much about naked skull-faced people art, i’m sure that it will be chock full of Von D’s famous vampire pals. (no word on if it’s open to the public or not, however.) interesting fun fact, while trying to find a nice, presentable image of Kat i found out she’s now going out with Jesse James, America’s number one scum bag. this is following the impressive dating lineage of Nikki Sixx, Alex Orbison, Steve-O and Oliver Pecker. maybe she’s following her STDs to the source, like a werewolf, and if she kills him she’ll at last be freed? (following today’s theme of guest posts, this is clearly an entry from Perez Hilton.)
WTTD pal Courtney Cruz and her Devil’s Playground gets all kinky AGAIN with the sequel to her Fetish Girls Burlesque downtown at Bordello Bar – check out some naughty pics from the first Fetish Girls Burlesque show in our galleries here (three thumbs WAY up if you know what i mean from j. satan)
Meltdown’s gallery is having s fund raiser for Downtown Dog Rescue with a group show of more than fifty artists doing portraits of cute widdle doggies, including works from Chet Zar, Nicole Bruckman, Christopher Umana and about fifty more
this actually went public last night, but regardless the Vader Project in Hollywood on Melrose looks fantastic with more than a hundred art-ed up Darth Vader helmets from pretty much every relevant underground artist ever. there’s a catalog signing at two pm.
LeBasse opens for Yoskay Yamamoto’s ‘Familiar Strangers’ show in Culver City
Gary Baseman’s ‘Giggle and Pop’ show from noon until four at the La Brea tar pits with his “Tar Pit Girls” – i like him but he’s a little skeevy, too…
tonight Dan Witz brings some literal street art to Carmichael Gallery (1257 N. La Brea, 90038) from 7-10. half of the works are actually placed on doors, alleys, etc., and i can’t tell whether or not it will look as good as it seems. either way, my interest is piqued. (more info after the jump)

the intro to this video is similar in retrospect to TINT and i starting WTTD. although we look amazing when we jog and our British accents are way better. tonight the London Police bring their goofy stick people i.e. art to the Carmichael Gallery of Contemporary Art (1257 N La Brea Ave, 90038).
