EDIT: Being that we’re on the subject of The Roots here, I was poking around Questlove’s twitter. They were playing on Jimmy Fallon the other night and the Dirty Projectors were there, so they were nice enough to give the Roots a little private session in their dressing room which was caught on tape. Watch it here! It’s well worth your time. We might be seeing them on stage together very soon.

ok, folks. tonight is the night. supposedly. Nine Inch Nails tickets for their last four shows EVER are going on sale at 5pm PDT. of course, as of right now, NIN’s website is totally down and Reznor’s Twitter is also down. so there is no information whatsoever. good luck, America. you’ll need it.

NIN is hitting the Henry Fonda, Wiltern, Echoplex and Hollywood Palladium in September, and speaking of bids, presale tickets will be available through the NIN site at different times for each show. these places are hella small… information is supposed to be available here at the tour portion of their site, and you’ll need to sign up with YOUR REAL NAME in order to get tickets. if anything comes back up in time, that is.

apparently the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are getting a little lazy and cheap in their old age. they’re running a contest for their fans to design a shirt which they will then use to sell at their concerts and online. so basically they make a ton of money off your blood and sweat and tears and all you get is some autographed ‘booty’. Annnd it works! This is amazing and will likely change the way Diggers Digg. Literally all you have to do, on any website is type the words “digg.com/” before the url and press enter. Magically, the DiggBar glides down below the address bar, allowing you to digg the story, share is as a short url, and view the comments. You can also see the total number of views globally. That’s right, views not diggs. So far it’s been fun, I’m a daily Digger for example, but I rarely submit. The DiggBar makes it so easy it’s hard not too. Eyy something cool to do, finally! This weekend marks the second annual Los Angeles Art Weekend presented, in part, by ForYourArt which is actually an amazing art resource for you Los Angelenos! This event promises to be a fun filled four days, kicking off tomorrow, April 2nd and ending on Sunday, April 4th. All kinds of shenanigans are taking place and I’m going to do my best breaking down the highlights for you:

Ello ello folks. This past Friday, Wreck The Tape Deck was featured on Twitterstop.com as part of their weekly #BackgroundFriday – Fave 5. Not to toot our own horn or anything… Well, in this case we’d be tweeting our own horn… but… ya know, enough with the wordplay and you can put your horn away now (seriously, I’m talking to you guy).
